Fighting Words Post-primary
Creative writing workshops that encourages students to develop their writing skills and use their voice. Suitable for all levels.

When a class takes part in a Fighting Words workshop, they spend the first part of the time working together creating a story initially through role play and improvisation. They work as a group to develop characters, setting and plot, adding dialogue and editing as they go.
Each participant then has the opportunity to work on their own, individual pieces of writing, helped and encouraged by our Fighting Words volunteer tutors. All ideas are welcomed, there is no red pen, creativity and fun are encouraged. Every young person is mentored to contribute and create.
