Are you a primary school teacher, working with 4th or 5th class in a DEIS school in Cork City? Read On!
Would you like to take part in a FREE Creative Learning project with Graffiti Theatre Company?
If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Supported by the RTE Toy Show Appeal, Graffiti is delighted to offer 5 class groups the opportunity to take part in Our Way, Our World , a brand new Creative Learning Project that celebrates children’s rights to access culture and creativity, and brings the magic of The Toy Show to classrooms across the city!

What’s involved in the project?
Selected class groups will be assigned a Theatre Artist who will deliver 5 workshops in their classroom from:
Week beginning 3rd of March to Week beginning 31st of March
Each class will share their work at Graffiti, during the week beginning April 7th , 2025, followed by attending a performance of ‘Missing Earth’ by John McCarthy in our theatre.
1 person from each class group will be offered a 1 year scholarship place to join Activate Youth Theatre, beginning September 2025.
Our Way, Our World is offered free of charge, but schools must provide their own transport to and from Graffiti if needed.

“I never experienced anything quite like it before and then once the children heard they were going to be on stage it really just transformed them. Our attendance has been through the roof because they all want to be in to practise and they are just absolutely loving it. Some of our shy kids who wouldn’t volunteer normally in an English lesson are the first ones looking for a part.”
