CALLOUT: Childcare settings for BEAG Early Years Arts programme

Dec 10, 2020

Graffiti’s BEAG Early Years (0-3) Arts Programme is seeking an expression of interest from a diverse selection of private and community Childcare settings to collaborate within Covid Guidelines in the city and county of Cork in 2021.

BEAG aims to develop young children’s curiosity, deepen their lifelong relationships with creativity and artistic expression and help them to discover and delight in their own creativity and that of their carers.

BEAG encounters have traditionally taken place in creches and childcare settings throughout Cork, as well as at public events such as festivals, libraries or at other cultural institutions. In this unprecedented year, restrictions will impact how we think about reaching this very young audience and you, their carers.

We are researching and developing exciting new ways of connecting and interacting with childcare settings in a socially distant and responsible way.  Our artists have delivered experiences remotely by post, by delivery drop, by video and outside windows!

BEAG will deliver Early Years encounters, specifically for children from birth to 3 years throughout Cork city and County in Spring/Summer 2021 so if you’d like your setting to be considered for inclusion in this year’s programme, fill in this short questionnaire  BEAG Expression of Interest   and email to George at BEAG@graffiti.ie

Want to learn more about BEAG?

Graffiti will host a free introductory BEAG webinar at 3pm on Wed 13th January for childcare settings in advance of the deadline to those interested in hearing more about BEAG, our approach, meet some of our senior artists and to answer any questions you may have.

You can book your free space for the webinar via Eventbrite:  WEBINAR REGISTRATION

BEAG is run in partnership with Cork City Arts Office, Cork County Arts Office, the HSE South and the Arts Council.
